This is the entire pyramid compound I designed for the Aztec parallel world of last post. The concept is that there are three moons or planets interacting in the story : a large dead planet far away around which the smaller one revolves.
The pyramids are situated on a moon orbiting round this smaller planet. Each planet was inhabited by different races now extinct but the ruins of this third planet is now used for military drill by an alien, predatory species.
One of their teams has just arrived and is going to find out there is something else out there even more dangerous than them.
